How do I know if the 9" drop is right for my vehicle?
The 9" drop is specifically designed for heavily lifted pickup trucks or vehicles running massive aftermarket tires. To ensure this is the right size, measure the distance from the top inside of your 2" receiver tube down to the ground, and do the same for your trailer coupler when it is level. The difference between those two measurements is your required drop.
Will this hitch work with my GM MultiPro/MultiFlex Tailgate?
No. The standard Tow & Stow hitches are not compatible with GM's multi-function tailgates. When the inner step is lowered, it will come into contact with this standard ball mount and cause costly damage. You will need to select a specific "GM MultiPro/MultiFlex" Tow & Stow model instead.
Can I use a sway-bar with the Tow & Stow?
No. Sway-bar systems and weight distribution systems utilize specialized attachment pieces that connect directly to the hitch receiver, which are not compatible with the Tow & Stow design.
